Das UKD erneuert seine bestehende Netzwerkinfrastruktur. Beschafft werden Access Points, zugehörige WiNG-Montageadapter sowie Access- und Aggregations-Switches von Extreme Networks. Ziel ist die Fortführung der vorhandenen Fabric-Architektur und der etablierten Management-, Sicherheits- und Betriebsprozesse ohne Aufbau einer parallelen Netzwerkplattform.
