Het project betreft het moderniseren en onderhouden van de objecten gelegen in en langs de Noord-Brabantse en Midden-Limburgse kanalen, inclusief de bediencentrale(s), met focus op de disciplines elektrotechniek, werktuigbouwkunde en industriële automatisering. De scope omvat het vernieuwen, renoveren en in stand houden van het Elektrotechnische en Werktuigbouwkundige deel (E&W) en Industriële Automatisering (IA) van bruggen, sluizen, waterreguleringswerken en gemalen in het areaal systeem NBMLK van de dienst Zuid-Nederland.
